Catch. Counts.

Why we need your support.

Think Small’s mission is to advance quality care and education for children in their crucial early years. We do this by providing important services, resources, and advocacy for the adults who most affect children—parents, providers and policy makers.

But we can’t do any of it without your help. Between now and the end of June, we’re seeking the support of individuals who believe in the power of early learning.

We are asking YOU to ‘Catch the Red Ball for Think Small’ by making a donation in any amount right now.

Here's How You Can Make a Difference:

Provides one hour of advocacy for more Early Learning Scholarships.

Pays for an hour of quality coaching for a child care professional.

Provides one training class for a child care provider.

Purchases a book for the Debra S. Fish Early Childhood Library.
Provides ParentPowered Texts for one family for a year.

The Opportunity is Now.

Minnesota is at a pivotal moment. We know that too many children are not entering kindergarten ready for a positive K-12 experience.  And as a state, we have made little progress in addressing the opportunity gaps—gaps that are some of the highest in the country for children of color.

Minnesota is also experiencing a crisis in the shortage of high-quality child care slots for children. An unprecedented number of programs close their doors and fewer people choose to enter the field. This is an economic development issue for our state because employers have difficulty attracting workers when child care is not available. We are also losing thousands of small businesses—most owned and operated by women. And for families that need child care, the shortage of high-quality programs is a barrier to employment for the parent and represents a missed opportunity to prepare children for kindergarten.

We are working to increase the access and availability of high-quality in care and you can join us by making a donation to Think Small today.  No amount is too small and every dollar helps! Thanks in advance for your support!

Will you catch the red ball?
